St. Christopher, the first Caribbean island to be permanently settled by both the English and the French (who shared the island between 1627 and 1713 ), was a model and a springboard for English and French colonialism in the Caribbean and elsewhere.
'St. Thomas/St. Anne Heritage Trail Fundraising Breakfast'

On Saturday 27 July 2013 a hearty, healthy and tasty Kittitian style breakfast will be served at the Historic Market in Sandy Point. Tickets for this breakfast are only $15.00 and all proceeds shall go towards signage and other expenses for the St. Thomas/St. Anne Heritage Trail. The menu shall include traditional Kittitian fare such as saltfish, scrambled and boiled eggs, sliced breadfruit, fried Johnny Cakes, banana or pumpkin fritters, vegetarian (lentil) patties, fresh fruits, bush tea, coffee and local fruit juices. Information on venues where tickets shall be available shall be released shortly.
